Agreement

By submitting this online form, you, the user, agree to pay BYD by 1826 Pte Ltd (“Our Company”), an authorised dealer, a sum of Singapore Dollars $1,000 (“Priority Fee”) for priority booking or advance booking of the selected car model (“Car”) upon the Car being made available for sale. The booking fee will be credited towards your final purchase price.

Note: The information provided herein and any submission of a booking does not constitute an offer and/or acceptance thereof for the sale and purchase of a vehicle. Prices, taxes, fees, and specifications of warranties indicated at the time of booking are subject to change without notice and are not confirmed. Any purchase and sale will be subject to terms and conditions set by BYD by 1826, and there is no contract for purchase and sale until you have agreed in writing to all these terms and conditions.

Priority Booking Benefits Validity

The benefits of placing a priority booking are valid until the launch of the Car (“Benefits Validity Period”) for those who have placed a deposit before the specified cut-off date. You may withdraw from this arrangement at any time during the Benefits Validity Period, in which case the Priority Fee will be returned to you in full. Our Company's liability under this arrangement is limited to the return of the Priority Fee without interest, and it shall not be liable to you in any other manner.

Priority Booking Benefits

Upon confirmation of your priority booking placed before the specified cut-off date, you will be entitled to various benefits that may be offered for that specific model. The exact nature of these benefits will be communicated to you at the time of booking confirmation.

These benefits will be valid upon confirmation of your booking during the Benefits Validity Period. Confirmation of booking consists of two steps: (1) Payment of the initial SG$1,000 ("Priority Fee") deposit and, (2) Payment of the full deposit amount (as specified in our price list). We will contact you during the Benefits Validity Period to confirm your booking and arrange for the payment of the full deposit amount. Discounts on bookings confirmed outside the Benefits Validity Period will be at the sole discretion of Our Company.

Refund Period

You may request a refund at any time within 90 days following the date of payment of the Priority Fee (“Default Refund Period”). Should you decide to do so, the Priority Fee will be refunded in full and this arrangement will be invalidated. To request an extension of the Default Refund Period, please email your request and your order number to sales@byd.1826.sg. We can accommodate a request for an extension up to 365 days following the date of payment of the Priority Fee (“Extended Refund Period”).

Our Company's liability under this arrangement is limited to the return of the Priority Fee without interest, and it shall not be liable to you in any other manner.

Requesting Refund

To request a refund, please email us at sales@byd.1826.sg along with your order number, and we will process the full refund of your Priority Fee as soon as possible. Our payments are processed through Stripe, and it may take between 5 to 10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

Online Priority Bookings or Advance Bookings

The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to priority bookings or advance bookings made online through our website. They outline the benefits and procedures for customers who opt for online priority booking or advance booking for the Car.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore, and by submitting the form, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting the priority booking form, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit the form.

Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version of the T&C can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms & Conditions" hyperlink located on our website.
