Key Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Service: Provide outstanding customer service throughout the guest's dining journey, ensuring they feel welcome, comfortable, and thoroughly attended to.
  • Menu Knowledge: Understand and effectively communicate our menu offerings, including food, beverages, and any specials, guiding guests to make informed choices that enhance their dining experience.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a representative of both the BYD and 1826 brands, highlighting our unique concept and fielding any inquiries related to our electric vehicle offerings.
  • Sales: Leverage your understanding of our menu and electric vehicles to upsell items appropriately, enriching the guests' dining experiences while boosting sales.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all orders, and liaise with our sales team to provide a seamless transition for guests interested in our BYD vehicles.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role in the casual-premium dining sector.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A keen interest in or knowledge of the automotive industry, specifically electric vehicles, is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and cash handling.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
